ECE Smooth Plane


ECE planes combine Emmerich's meticulous quality with the economy of traditional hammer-set irons secured with wooden wedges. Heavy irons are solidly bedded for smooth, clean performance. Bodies are dense European beech and soles are long-wearing hornbeam. As in all Emmerich planes, the workmanship is simply outstanding.

This classic finishing plane is 8-5/8" long, with a 1-7/8" iron; it's ideal for small scale work, and for smoothing any size surface prior to final finishing.
