Gransfors Bruks French Trade Axe 125841

Gransfors Bruks French Trade Axe

These Gransfors Bruks Ancient Collection axes are forged only by master blacksmith Lars Enander. The French Trade Axe (formerly known as the Dakota Tomahawk) is based on axes used by the French when trading with Native Americans. It has a 6" long head with a 3" edge and weighs 1.5 lbs. The 19" rough sanded hickory handle is mounted in a tapered eye without wedges - for easy replacement. While primarily intended for throwing, these axes can also be used for chopping.

Please note that this is a limited production Gransfors Bruks Axe—we suggest you order well in advance of need.
