Seeing in the Dark

Well, I found a useful tool for all of you who don't have enough light in your workshop.

I just turned 68 years old and for some reason my shop never seems to have enough light so I can see what I'm doing.

So I bought one of those headlamps. You know, the kind that fits on your head, like a miner would wear. Now I can keep a bright light aimed wherever my eyes are looking.

You can find these at sporting good stores, REI, and some hardware stores. They seem to be popping up everywhere. (Hey, Highland Woodworking even carries them!)

Mine is a nice LED light that is extremely bright, just what I need for my aging eyes. Happy turning.
