A Dust Hose that Stays in Place

Finally, a dust hose that stays in place.

I have been looking for a dust hose for my lathe that is easy to connect and when bent, stays bent. I own every dust hood that Highland Woodworking sells and have used duct tape, clothes hanger wire, even tried glue (doesn't work) and haven't found a really good solution.

We started selling Stay Put hoses , so naturally I had to try one, adding to my collections of hoses. It comes in 4 inch and 2.5 inch diameter and six and three feet lengths. It is accordion-ed and so you can pull it to the length you need.

I stretched mine out and put two bends in it and with some magnets simply attached it to the back side of my lathe. It really works. If you are having a problem with dust collection on the lathe this might be your solution too.
