Mirka Sanding Blocks and Half-Round Pads
These hand sanding devices by Mirka are ideal for turners to use while spinning a workpiece on a lathe. Three styles of sanding blocks each fit comfortably in the palm, while the half-round-shaped sanding pads provide a sturdy but flexible foam backing structure for holding 5" or 6" hook and loop sandpaper disks and are especially convenient when sanding contoured surfaces.

We now offer Mirka's premium Abranet sandpaper in 2" and 3" diameter size disks (in addition to 5" and 6" which we already carried), making it an excellent abrasive for turners to use when finishing bowls and other turnings. If used on a sander with a vacuum port, the unique mesh structure of Abranet paper helps make dust collection while sanding more efficient than ever.
