3M Imperial WetorDry Sandpaper Sheets - 9 inch by 11 inch

3M's Imperial WetorDry Sandpaper was originally developed for sanding automotive finishes. It uses high quality precisely graded abrasive on a waterproof A-weight paper backing. It is fast-cutting, durable and flexible, resulting in a consistent, uniform finish. All of these qualities make Imperial WetorDry a great choice for woodworking.

220 to 800 grits are made from 3Ms 213Q Aluminum Oxide abrasive paper graded in the FEPA grit scale. This tough, friable abrasive is great for sanding bare wood in preparation for applying finish. The abrasive grit will stay sharp throughout its life and cut effectively, with minimal clogging.

1000 to 2500 grits are made from 3Ms 401Q Silicon Carbide abrasive paper graded in the ANSI/CAMI grit scale. This hard, sharp abrasive is great for sanding finishes between coats and during polishing the final finish. In addition, this paper is great for achieving a really fine edge when sharpening with sandpaper and for sanding and polishing metal during rust removal when reconditioning your tools and cast iron machine surfaces.
