Take the fear out of finishing with the nearly goof-proof finish process afforded by using General Finishes Arm-R-Seal. Arm-R-Seal is an easy to use but very durable oil-based varnish well-suited for furniture, cabinets, case goods and millwork.
Arm-R-Seal topcoats available in satin, semi-gloss and gloss are made with only the highest quality urethane resins, making the finished surface tough and long lasting. The unique oil and urethane resin combination provides deep penetration into the fibers that "pops the grain" and forms a hard, beautiful finish that is resistant to household chemicals, moisture and marring. It is formulated to be wiped on easily with a cloth or applied with a foam brush, thus eliminating runs, drips or brush marks.
For a simple 3-step heirloom-quality finish on natural wood surfaces, wipe on General Finishes Seal-A-Cell for a lustrous finish. After drying, wipe on or use a foam brush to apply Arm-R-Seal for a hard, protective finish. Then, to achieve and accentuate a more natural look in your wood finish after it has cured, apply a coat of paste wax using 0000 steel wool and rub it out with a soft cloth.
Arm-R-Seal provides a warm look, sands well and is easy to apply. It provides deep and lasting protection. Available in pint, quart and gallon sizes.
